Meet the Founders of Refract

Daniel is the co-founder and CEO of Refract. Previously, he worked on trading strategies at Citadel Securities. He holds a degree in Computer Science (AI Specialization) and Philosophy from MIT, and did AI research in natural language processing and cognitive science at CSAIL. He also worked at a psychiatry clinic, focusing on operations and growth.

Victoria is the co-founder and CTO of Refract. Before Refract, she worked as a quantitative trader at Jane Street and as a software developer at AWS. She studied Computer Science (AI Specialization) and Math at MIT, where she worked on deep learning research that was used to compress data at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Her parents are general internists running their own practice, and she has witnessed firsthand the operational challenges of running a clinic and how outdated current medical systems can be.
